UConn men record another perfect APR score

It seems unlikely that the UConn men will repeat as national basketball champions in 2015, but for the second year in a row the program has submitted a perfect academic progress rate score to the NCAA. And that is a significant accomplishment for a program that was banned from postseason play in 2013 after falling below APR standards.

This score of 1,000 is for the 2013-14 academic year – when the Huskies were eligible and won the national championship. The most recent APR submission was reported first by The Associated Press, which obtained the document under a state open records request.

The score becomes official in May, when the NCAA makes its annual announcement of scores for all schools.
