UConn holding women’s title game watch at Gampel

UConn is holding a national championship game Tuesday night at Gampel Pavilion.

Here are the details, from the UConn release:

The University of Connecticut Division of Athletics will hold a NCAA National Championship Game Watch at Gampel Pavilion on Tuesday night, April 7The UConn women’s basketball team plays for the NCAA title on Tuesday against Notre Dame. Tipoff for the game is 8:44 p.m. while the doors to Gampel will open at 7:30 p.m. 

The game viewing, which will be on a large screen set up on the court, is free and open to all members of the University community.

Fans can enter Gampel Pavilion at either the North or East Entrances.

Concession stands will be open and all normal Gampel Pavilion policies will be in effect, including the bag search policy. Backpacks or oversized bags will not be not permitted. Purses and tote bags that are smaller than 12″ x 12″ x 6″ will be permitted.

The UCon pep band, mascot and cheerleaders will be in attendance.
