The NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Committee announced preliminary round hosts for the 2016-18 tournaments on Monday. Included in the selections are two sites -Brooklyn and Des Moines – that have never hosted NCAA tournament games and six cities – Dayton, Philadelphia, Salt Lake City, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Mo., and Charlotte – that have served for at least 20 different tournaments.
