College basketball will settle some issues inside the Top 25 this weekend and Saturday will be a test for some of the nation’s best teams.
Iowa State proved itself as the best team in its state, routing Iowa Friday night.
There are four big games to watch Saturday, highlighted by No. 21 North Carolina at Kentucky, the No. 1 team again this week in the Power Rankings that I pull together weekly for FoxSports.com. The top-ranked Wildcats will be playing their first game since star Alex Poythress was lost for the season with a torn ACL in his left knee. John Calipari has lost a true leader but the Wildcats are still loaded with All-Americans.
If that’s not enough drama, you can also settle in and take a look at No. 15 Utah vs. No. 6 Kansas, No. 9 Gonzaga at UCLA, and No. 25 Northern Iowa at VCU.
Our college basketball Power Rankings were posted Thursday on FoxSports.com, in the NCAA basketball section. Just click here to check them out.
Happy hoops!
