Recruiting can be so confusing, especially when Kansas and Kentucky are involved with the same player.

When five-star recruit Carlton Bragg announced his decision Thursday, Kentucky coach John Calipari’s heart may have skipped a beat at first. But the bottom line is Bragg is headed to Lawrence, Kan., to play for Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks. It’s a big-time recruiting victory for Self and good news for a young Jayhawk team.
