We flirted with total chaos at the top of the rankings last week. Ole Miss put a scare into No. 1 Kentucky but it wasn’t enough to wake up the Wildcats. Next time out, Texas A&M had an even better shot at defeating John Calipari’s two-platoon team, but somehow Kentucky survived. Is there a team in the SEC that can get the job done? Stay tuned.
We do know that defense has failed Duke in two straight losses. Miami scored 90 against the Blue Devils, snapping Duke’s 41-game home winning streak and dropping Coach K’s team from No. 2 in our rankings. Virginia, Gonzaga and Villanova move up into our top four.
