Syracuse, under investigation by the NCAA, announced Wednesday a self-imposed ban on postseason play for its men’s basketball team. The one-year ban not only includes the NCAA tournament, but also the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament and the National Invitation Tournament.
Syracuse.com reports that the school has self-imposed other penalties that will be announced when the NCAA Committee on Infractions issues its final report. Syracuse appeared before the committee in October 2014.
