ARLINGTON, Texas – The NCAA men’s basketball champions will be heading home to Connecticut in just a few hours. Here are the details of Tuesday’s celebration at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs.

STORRS, Conn. (April 7, 2014) — The University of Connecticut men’s basketball team travel party will leave Dallas, Texas, via charter flight at 12:30 p.m. EDT (11:30 a.m. Dallas time) on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. The team is expected to return to Bradley International Airport at approximately 3:45 p.m. EDT.
There will be no public event at Bradley International Airport.
The team will return to Gampel Pavilion in Storrs for a Championship Pep Rally. The doors to Gampel Pavilion will open to the public at 4:30 p.m. and the team is expected to arrive in Storrs at approximately 5:00 p.m.
The event at Gampel is free and open to the public. The program will include brief comments from head coach Kevin Ollie and other individuals.
Following the rally, Gampel Pavilion will remain open for a student viewing of the NCAA women’s national championship game between UConn vs. Notre Dame on 8:30 p.m. EDT.
