It has been said that college basketball’s regular season doesn’t count and that games are meaningless unless until the NCAA tournament begins. Tell that to all the crazy, screaming fans who have been packing arenas in Ames and Lexington and Charlottesville and Lawrence and Durham.

Conference races matter to college basketball fans and things are certainly heating up from the ACC to the Pac-12 and everywhere in between. The process separates the men from the boys and it will only become more intense as we inch toward March Madness.
